Billing and plans
How DocuTract is billed: per workspace, by generated documents, with a free plan, paid monthly or yearly plans and one-time payment for a single document.
What you pay for
DocuTract is billed per workspace, and the unit that counts is a generated document.
Uploading scans, recognising them, creating templates and regenerating a document because of an error are never charged. Templates and scan uploads are unlimited on every plan.
Plans
- Free. Start with 5 documents per month, no credit card required.
- Paid plans. Higher monthly quotas and team features such as the parties directory and API and webhooks, plus priority support. Every plan can be paid Monthly or Yearly; paying yearly costs less.
- Integrations. CRM integrations are included in Pro and Team; the API and webhooks and the no-code apps (Zapier, Make, n8n), in Team.
- Pay once for a single document. When you fill a document online from the website, you can pay one time to unlock just that file, without a subscription.

The billing page
Open Billing in the menu. The Plans & subscription page shows:
- your Current plan and its status (active, trial, past due, canceled);
- Documents this month — how many you have generated and how many remain;
- Quota resets on — the day the monthly count starts again;
- the Plans to choose from, with a Monthly / Yearly switch.
To subscribe, press Subscribe on a plan; you are taken to our payment provider's secure checkout. To change plans, update your card, download invoices or cancel, use Manage subscription: it opens the billing portal.
When the quota runs out
The monthly quota counts finished documents and resets each month. When you reach the limit, DocuTract tells you before generating anything, and shows when the limit resets. To keep generating straight away, upgrade on the pricing page or from the billing page.
Work that is not generation keeps going: you can still upload scans, check data and edit templates.
Several documents at once
A case or a batch costs one generation per finished document. Both tell you the total before you start, and neither starts if your plan does not have enough left, so you never end up with half a pack.

If something on an invoice looks wrong, write to User support from the contact page; we reply within one business day.
