What is new

One post per feature: why we built it, what it looks like and what to do next.

A template from the document you already have

You do not need to mark up a contract by hand to turn it into a template. Upload a finished document, and DocuTract proposes which parts change from client to client.

A password is no longer enough

Two-factor sign-in is live. Add an authenticator app to your account, and a stolen password stops being a way into your documents. Workspace owners can require it of the whole team.

One template instead of five

Conditional blocks are live. A clause that appears only when there is a guarantor, a section repeated once per tenant, and a record of which version of a template each document was built with.

The details you retype every time

The parties directory is live. The landlord, the employer, the counterparty you enter for every deal, stored once, with the document each detail came from and the day it was read.

Thirty documents in one go

Batch generation. An archive of folders or a table instead of thirty identical fills by hand, with visible progress and the option to repeat only what did not work.

When documents start in another system

The public API and webhooks. A token for your system, an address we write to when a document is ready, and a delivery log that shows exactly what your server answered.

Catching disagreements before you sign

Cross checks are live. When two documents of a case say different things, DocuTract shows you both values and where each came from, before anything is generated.

One set of scans, several documents

Cases are live. A deal is rarely one piece of paper, so DocuTract now fills the whole pack from a single upload, with each value read once and shared by every document that needs it.

Send a link instead of chasing files

The first feature of the new wave is live: your client uploads their documents themselves, through a private link, with no account and nothing to install.

What we are building next

Seven features that grow DocuTract from one document at a time into the whole flow around a case. Here is the list, in the order we plan to ship it.
